Using the Cache Administration Utility

This appendix describes how to use the cache administration utility to clear template, service, and service group caches. Use this utility to clear Cisco Service Selection Dashboard (Cisco SSD) caches after making changes to templates, services, or service groups.

To start the cache administration utility, follow these steps:

Step 1 Start a web browser.

Step 2 Enter the following URL:

    http://servername:port/cacheAdmin

where servername is the name of the server that is running the Cisco SSD and port is the port used to communicate with the messages utility.

The Service Selection Dashboard Cache Administration Utility page appears. (See Figure C-1.)

If you leave this field blank, all service group profiles will be updated.

Step 6 Repeat this procedure each time you make changes to a template, service, or service group.
