- Outstanding Bugs--Lists known bugs with the released version of firmware, including DDTS numbers
- Notices--Lists general information that applies to more than one specific version of firmware
- Cisco Connection Online--Describes Cisco Connection Online (CCO), which is Cisco Systems' primary, real-time support channel

Firmware version 2.8.15 supports the following changes from version 2.8.7:
- New commands to download boot code (AT\Z) and to read crash data (AT%Z).
Note The new
AT\Z comand was added to allow for future enhancements. Do not use this command until future notice.
- Bug fix for CSCdj25063 - ATDL does not return an ERROR code although there is no last number when entered for the first time after a reset/power cycle.
- Bug Fix for CSCdj51583 - V.110 TA configured for 9600 bps initiates a 19.2 Kbps call
This section lists outstanding moderate and minor bugs.
- CSCdk09664 - Cisco IOS Release 11.2(12)P does not support V.110 operation
- CSCdj64136 - AT&Dn command returns OK with all options entered
- There is an interoperability issue with Lasat ISDN TAs, model 640i. The call fails with a reason of protocol error from ISDN. The current implementation requires that the contents of ISDN SETUP message octets 5a-5b-5C be filled.
- Software flow control is not supported.
- Copy command will have some restrictions. Copy only to modem 0 or 12 in a given slot, that is, the software only supports copying firmware to port 0 of the V.110 port module.
- All ports must be in an idle state and manually busied out before a download is initiated, otherwise the download will fail.
- Only the following mixes of port modules are supported: mixes of Microcom modems, MICA modems and Cisco V.110 TA port modules.
- Only calls with the same data format type as that configured on the DTE of the Cisco AS5200 will be accepted at FCS (that is, no automatic format adjustment will be supported).
- The V.110 TA port module is classified as an unmanaged ISDN modem/TA for FCS.
- The modem autodiscovery command is not supported for V.110 TA port modules for FCS.
The procedure for downloading firmware to the V.110 board as follows:
Step 1 Make sure that all TA ports are in an idle state, and then busy them out.
Note There should not be any active calls on the ports during download.
5200# config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
5200(config)# li 13 24
5200(config-line)# modem busyout
Step 2 Issue the copy tftp modem command to download firmware. The V.110 firmware can be downloaded to Port 0 on the card only (for example, 0/0, 0/12, 1/0, 1/12, 2/0 or 2/12, depending on the module occupied by the card). Download attempts to other ports will not be allowed.
5200# copy tftp modem

Note After the dowload is completed, Cisco IOS software will re-initialize the board.
Step 3 Remove the TA ports from the busyout state:
5200# conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
5200(config)# li 13 24
5200(config-line)# no modem busyout
5200(config-line)# ctrl Z
5200#
Step 4 Issue the clear modem command:
Note The workaround for the autoselect problem is to issue a
clear modem command after power on or initialization in order to clear all V.110 TA ports.
