Introduction

Cisco introduces the Cisco WT2700 Wireless Technology Suite.

This new line of broadband wireless solutions enable new revenue and growth opportunities for emerging and competitive service providers by offering differentiated service in the competitive broadband environment.

Pioneering new techniques in modulation technology, Cisco has developed a broadband packet-based solution that offers unsurpassed data rates in both traditional line-of-site operations and obstructed environments that were, until now, never considered suitable for wireless products. With up to 44 Mbps of fully duplexed data transfer in non-line-of-site (NLOS) environments and coverage of up to 30 miles, the Cisco broadband wireless solutions provide high-bandwidth where traditional techniques fail.

Cisco WT2700 Wireless Technology Suite includes:

• Cisco uBR-MCS-PDA — Wireless Modem Card

  Describes the features and benefits of the Cisco uBR-MCW-PDA, which is a wireless modem card.

• Cisco uBR-ODD — Duplexer

  Describes the features and benefits of the Cisco uBR-ODD, a waveguide transmit receive module.

• Cisco uBR-WPFD — Power Feed Panel

  Describes the features and benefits of the Cisco uBR-WPFD, an interface between indoor and outdoor system components.

• Cisco WT2772 — Broadband Fixed Wireless Transverter

  Describes the features and benefits of the Cisco WT-2772 which provides a point-to-point wireless link
