CiscoWorks2000: Routed WAN Management Solution (NT, Solaris)

Product Overview

Cisco has assembled a comprehensive set of WAN management tools that extend the CiscoWorks2000 family to provide new solutions-based offerings targeted at functional areas of end-to-end network management. The new Routed WAN Management Solution offers a collection of powerful network management applications for configuring, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting the complexity associated with managing router devices in a wide area network (WAN). Its traffic tools monitors a device`s built-in mini-ATM Remote Monitoring (RMON), and in addition, can access full RMON statistics collected via one of our LAN, WAN and RMON family of probes.

The Routed WAN Management Solution can be deployed "standalone" or "alongside" your existing NMS products. This reduces the complexities related to understanding multi-dimensional, cross product prerequisites. It complies with Internet standards and can be used to create a Management Intranet. This framework offers an integrated, web-browser-based access point to enterprise management tools and offers a 'load-n-launch` interface to popular NMS products and best-of-breed point tools without being tied to proprietary APIs.

The following applications are included in the Routed WAN Management Solution offering:
