Overview

Network Utility is a packaging of equipment and life cycle services supported by a financial engineering model that enables customers to deploy networks with end-to-end Cisco solutions at a predictable cost. The rapid pace of changing network technologies, integration of legacy applications, and development of new emerging applications continuously challenges CIOs, and IS managers of Enterprise accounts. The Network Utility program is targeted to address the many needs identified by the enterprise in the internetworking marketplace.

Network Utility provides a turnkey solution to a customer that includes strategic financing (per port pricing) and a risk sharing arrangement with service level agreements (SLAs). The Network Utility program provides a partnership and risk sharing model that packages technology together with services in a manner that complements the goals and critical success factors facing many of today`s CIOs.
