For Cisco IOS software platforms:
The customer provides the minimum configuration file of any interfaces added during the upgrade
Cisco provides upgrade coordination of hardware, software, or memory upgrades, and onsite installation
Software upgrade services are available for Cisco platforms that are not Cisco IOS software-based on a limited basis. These services are tailored to the specific network challenges you may encounter and delivered under the supervision of a Cisco project manager.
The installation offering is ideal for product deployments of any size and solves the resource problem with the tactical personnel needed to supplement your project management to ensure the successful installation of your network components.
The customer provides software configurations.
Cisco provides the installation coordination and site survey (remote or on site according to the products), loads customer-supplied software configuration, packages and ships equipment per customer specifications, ensures tracking and accountability of the shipment, and provides an onsite field engineer to perform the installation.
