2 Port T1/E1 Moderate Capacity Enhanced Digital Voice PA

The enhanced digital voice port adapter provides large scale, high capacity voice, termination to PBXs and the PSTN for central site and large branch applications. With high density DSPs and two ports on each port adapter configurable for either T1 or E1, this card has the horsepower to deliver 24 channels of highly compressed voice for bandwidth sensitive WAN applications, and up to 48 channels of toll quality voice for large LAN and campus voice applications. Integrated multiservice interchange (MIX) provides flexibility for support of mixed environments including TDM voice, VoIP, and VoFR, that eases the path to end-to-end multiservice architectures.

• DS0 Drop and Insert for flexible TDM cross connect capability between ports and MIX bus.
