The Cisco SVX 4310 End Office System provides subscriber services in time-division multiplexing (TDM) + Packet environments at a price and scale attractive to emerging carriers. The system combines a scalable, TDM switch matrix with a robust subscriber feature module to support the most popular voice subscriber services for CLECs and Greenfield carriers serving residential and small to medium-sized business users. With an optional Cisco GR-303 module, the Cisco SVX 4310 can interface with Cisco New World access technologies for a complete multiservice networking solution. Combined with Cisco access products, service providers can offer integrated data and voice services with a cost-effective system that significantly enhances their competitive position in the marketplace. Service providers can cost-effectively serve from 2500 to 24,000 voice subscribers without investing in expensive, legacy Class 5 switching equipment. Dependent upon network configuration and traffic requirements, up to 152 T1s are available for subscriber access or Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) trunk-side connectivity. The Cisco SVX 4310 End Office System is fully equipped with a suite of key voice subscriber services, making it far more efficient for smaller-scale deployments than traditional Class 5 switches. Small and medium-sized service providers with customer-premises equipment (CPE) such as integrated access devices (IADs) and PBXs benefit from trunk-level switching for direct access via T1 or ISDN PRI. The Cisco SVX 4310 End Office System is fully compatible with today"s PSTN and it supports T1, ISDN PRI, SS7 ISUP, and Feature Group D connectivity. The optional Cisco GR-303 subsystem provides connectivity to a variety of circuit and packet-based access-products including the Cisco 6700 series multiservice access platform. Open architecture modular design Scalable capacity for 2500 to 24,000 subscribers Supports up to 152 T1 lines for subscriber access or PSTN trunk-side connectivity Easily integrates with legacy PBX and IADs Supports PSTN, T1, ISDN PRI, SS7 ISUP, Feature Group D, and Cisco GR-303 connectivity Small footprint dual-cabinet configuration Fully redundant carrier-class platform Trunk to customer Flexible, cost-effective solution providing lower cost per subscriber for improved cash flow, faster time to market, and a more immediate return on investment Increases subscriber market share by providing new high-profile services; scalable services are easily added to the base feature-package to provide market differentiation; services include prepaid calling, single-number dialing, and more Integrates key voice and data systems as an alternative to expensive traditional Class 5 switches Integrates with legacy equipment for a simplified, easy to manage, end-to-end solution The scalable solution for Greenfield startups as well as CLECs to keep and add subscribers in secondary markets Part of a fully integrated voice solution New Product: Cisco SVX 4310 End Office System
