The Multi-Channel T3 port adapter (PA-MC-T3) is a high-density solution for central site and service provider remote site aggregation. The PA-MC-T3 supports both full rate T1, and channelized T1 connections terminated through a single T3 interface. With the flexibility to provision T1, fractional T1, and Nx64K connections, the PA-MC-T3 reduces the cost and management complexity of supporting large numbers of leased-line connections and enables simplifies reprovisioning of bandwidth as network needs change.

Line and payload loopback capabilities:
Full bit error rate testing capabilities on any T1
Alarm detection: alarm indication
Support for Frame Relay, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), HDLC, SMDS DXI, X.25 connections
