Enhanced Multichannel T3

The next step in the evolution of interface capabilities for Internet Service Provider customer aggregation and large enterprise remote site connectivity. With the capability to support up to 56 T1 connections port adapter, the enhanced Multichannel T3 port adapter provides twice the interface density of the PA-MC-T3. With clear channel T3 and subrate T3 support, the enhanced Multichannel T3 port adapter increases interface flexibility and allows service providers to deploy interfaces to remote locations without having to know beforehand the ratio of clear channel T3 and channelized T3 ports they must support.

• Up to 256 logical T1, Nx56K and Nx64K channels per card

• Channelized T1, fractional T1, full rate T1, subrate T3 and full rate T3 supported

• Subrate DS3 modes: Digital Link, Larscom, Kentrox, Adtran, Verilink

• Internal or network clocking selectable on each port

• Line and payload loopback capabilities

• Full bit error rate testing capabilities on any T1

• Alarm detection and alarm indication

• Support for Frame Relay, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), HDLC, SMDS DXI, X.25 connections
