The Multi-Channel E3 port adapter (PA-MC-E3) is a high-density solution for central site and service provider remote site aggregation. The PA-MC-E3 supports both full rate E1 and channelized E1 connections terminated through a single E3 G.703 connection. With the flexibility to provision E1, fractional E1, and Nx64K connections, the PA-MC-E3 reduces the cost and management complexity of supporting large numbers of leased-line connections and enables simplifies reprovisioning of bandwidth as network needs change.

Support for Frame Relay, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), HDLC, SMDS DXI, ISDN PRI, X.25 connections
