The Fast Ethernet port adapters provide one high-performance 100 Mbps, 100BaseT Fast Ethernet interface. Both full-duplex and half-duplex operation are supported for these Fast Ethernet port adapters.
There are two models of the Fast Ethernet 100BaseT port adapters to support connections to Category 5 UTP cable for 100BaseTX (RJ-45) applications and to fiber for 100BaseFX (SC-type fiber-optic connector) applications.
