4- and 8-Port Asynchronous and Synchronous Network Modules

The 4- and 8- port asynchronous/synchronous network modules are high density, low-speed serial modules used in the Cisco 2600 and Cisco 3600 series routers. They provide up to eight synchronous ports with speeds up to 128 kbps or eight asynchronous ports with speeds up to 115.2 kbps with 10 percent return traffic. The 4-port module is not upgradeable to the 8-port module.
