Cisco AccessPath-TS3 — Large Enterprise Access System

Cisco AccessPath-TS3 — Large Enterprise Access System

Product Overview

Cisco`s AccessPath-TS3 integrated access system is designed to meet the demands of rapidly growing Internet service providers (ISPs), telecommunications carriers, and other network service providers who offer managed Internet connections. The AccessPath system also provides a ready solution for large enterprises as they expand their intranet requirements to include dial access.

Cisco`s AccessPath-TS3 leverages Cisco dial access stacking architecture (DASA) to offer its customers a carrier-class dial system, with unprecedented levels of capacity, density and performance.

As the newest member in a family of integrated solutions, AccessPath-TS3 provides an immediate solution for dial points of presence (POPs) in a single, complete system. It leverages the high-density, high-performance, AS5300 dial platform and Cisco`s industry-leading routing and switching products to ensure cost-effective scalability from 192 to 2016 (3*T3) port capacity in North America, and 240 to 2520 port capacity in worldwide E1 configurations, accommodating rapid growth in network demand as well as geographic reach. Looking ahead, AccessPath-TS3 is designed to accommodate double the current density, offering a smooth migration to next-generation AccessPath systems scalable beyond 5000 port capacity. AccessPath-TS3 offers breakthroughs in density and scalability, while continuing to provide the rich set of Cisco IOSTM services. To complement the AccessPath-TS3, Cisco offers a full spectrum of life cycle-focused support solutions. The Cisco support portfolio features start-up, maintenance, marketing, advanced and custom solutions to maximize and protect customers` investments.
