Cisco 673 — SOHO/Telecommuter SDSL Router

Cisco 673 — SOHO/Telecommuter SDSL Router

Product Overview

The Cisco 673 Small Office/Home Office (SOHO)/Telecommuter Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) router is designed to offer cost-effective, high-speed services to small home offices and work-at-home users. The Cisco 673 provides a 10/100BaseT interface for connection to a small home office LAN or a single Ethernet-equipped PC. The product supports a robust routing feature set for seamless integration of SDSL service into corporate or home LANs/WANs. A built-in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server automatically assigns IP addresses to PCs on the LAN, and with Port Address Translation (PAT), these PCs can share a single IP address. The Cisco 673 can be connected to a Cisco 6130 DSL access concentrator (DSLAM). Optional software is available to enable the Cisco 6130 to be connected to another 673 for point-to-point connections.
